Welcome to G3PGA's homepage.

My name is Mike and home is  the small village of Fremington which is in the county of Devon. Loc IO71WB. Fremington is situated on the north coast of Devon nestling between the towns of Barnstaple to the east and Bideford to the west. We have a population of some 7000 inhabitants. In days gone by Fremington was famous for the clay which was taken to make high quality pottery products which if found today are now very collectable. The village has undergone much renovation work in the last year or two. We have back our village green where our children can play safely. This was taken for a petrol station some years ago and now the clock has turned back. Also there has been a project to restore the Fremington Quay where ships would come to collect the clay. This has been successfully completed this year and is now open to the public with a small museum and restaurant. The views over the river Taw and estuary are well worth a visit.

I enjoy the computer and have been a radio ham since 1980. My interests include the digital modes and of course having a ragchew with old and new friends. I also have a small Koi pond in the garden.

I am a retired police officer from the Royal Parks Police in London and now drive for the West Country Ambulance Service here in Barnstaple.

On duty at Hampton Court Palace
